Our Story
Money wasted on business coaching. Time thrown away on marketing campaigns. Fines received for a registration we never heard of.

It started with a dream to be the greatest physical therapist we could be. A business was formed around a dream. The formation and maintenance of that dream was thought to only require passion to help patients; we were so wrong.
​
To keep our doors open there were many legal nuances. Attaining new business was beyond our schooling. Business coaches left us penniless and clueless. Community business associations were self serving. We were missing key points to maintaining compliance, reaching our patient population and found ourselves immensely distracted from doing what we had set out to do as clinicians; treat patients.

TheraLINK was born from the ashes of a successful clinician, driven to give patients the best results, who failed in the business realm
Meet The Team
Nick Vernola PT DPT
Co-Founder
Nick is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating from Stony Brook University with a specialization in pelvic floor therapy. He went on to open Atlanta Physical Therapy, where he was passionate about helping his patients heal and improve their quality of life.

Life took an unexpected turn when Nick was struck by a car while cycling, leaving him unable to continue working directly with patients. During his recovery, he reflected on his experience as both a clinician and business owner. He realized that running a business had created a lot of distractions, taking time away from what he truly loved; helping his clients.
This realization inspired Nick to create a platform that would make it easier for therapists to focus on what they do best, treating patients, without being bogged down by the challenges of running a business.

Today, Nick is committed to helping other therapists simplify the business side of things, so they can focus on what truly matters: their patients.
Jeff Cain PT DPT
Co-Founder
Jeff is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating from Widener University with a focus in sports and orthopedics. He has spent over 12 years working in outpatient orthopedics, helping patients of all ages and backgrounds, with a special passion for athletes and active individuals.

A travel assignment brought Jeff to Atlanta, where he met the love of his life and decided to settle into a full-time position. This led to what would become a 9+ year management role, overseeing as many as three clinics at once. Throughout his time in leadership, while maintaining a full patient caseload, he discovered a new passion: helping other physical therapists maximize their potential and thrive in their careers.

Jeff realized that therapists do their best work when they’re free to focus on their patients. That insight inspired him to help create a platform designed to remove the headaches of running a business. The goal is to let therapists work independently without getting buried in logistics, red tape, or losing their sanity.
At our core, we believe in empowering healthcare professionals to practice under their own license allowing you to pursue your passion on your terms. Our mission is to help individuals overcome obstacles in their journey towards independence a flexible schedule.
